Last piece of Christmas...

This is the last thing I wanted to show you for Christmas. If you were at the Penrith Paper Crafts Festival in November you may have seen me demonstrating these cute little gift cards.

( some of you lucky few may have received one from me then as well!).

They were super quick to make using a technique called 'Reverse Masking'.
All i did was create a circle mask using my round tab punch and then using 'pastels' and sponge daubers, coloured inside the clear area. Then with mask in place I stamped my 'hung up on the holidays' stamps, lift the mask and voila! A bit of 'dazzling diamonds' to finish and they're done. The best bit is I only used the one colour for the whole thing! Even the cardstock! This one is 'Ballet Blue'

Double pocket tote...

I made this adorable little double pocket tote bag using the Holiday Thyme paper which is sadly no longer available. It was a super quick project that would be a great gift with some small note cards or treats stuffed into the pockets.

It also uses the star from 'on board accents' chipboard and the 'celebrate' from the stamp set 'Lexicon of love', Gold cord, Twill tape and gold Brads.

Hail, Hail...

Here are the photos as promised. These were taken about half an hour after the main storm passed and had already begun to melt.

I hope everyone has stayed safe and sound. Thank God for insurance!!

A bit of Scrapbooking...

So I'm not usually a scrapbooker but love to give it a go now and then. These are two 6x6 layouts I've been working on this morning and I must say I'm quite happy with how they turned out. The first one simply uses the ingredients from the Simply Scrappin Kits- All the trimmings. and the second is another using my new stamp set- Time well spent.

This second page uses a LOT of pink but it figure that's OK because my daughter is a very girly- girl. And she just looks adorable in pink.

As I type this a Hail storm has just hit Sydney. Will post the photos later. Bigger than I've ever seen and my first ever brand new car has just copped it big time!!!

This is a card I made for a colour challenge that Madonna hosted for the team I'm a part of 'The Elite Stampers'.
Using "Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Rose Red, Orchid Opulence, Very Vanilla or Blush Blossom up to you"
I wanted to change the fold of the card and use my spiral punch finally! I also used the tag punch to do both ends of my 'Friends' Tag.

All in the Family...

We are almost at the end of a few specials for the Month, so this is your last chance to get them.
The Spring Mini Catalogue is coming to an end on the 30th (tomorrow), if there was anything that you wanted, you had best be quick.
All in the Family disappears until April. Don't forget this is the fundraiser for Dave Abbott’s family. So far over 4000 sets have been sold worldwide. All proceeds are going direct to Dave’s family.
The Holiday Thyme papers are still available but only until the 15th of December. These have been my saving grace for beautiful quick Chrissy cards and I dare say I will have to stock up on some more before they are gone for good!!

Speaking of Christmas papers and All in the family...

Here is my latest card combining the two. I wanted the hands to be holding the greeting but since there is only the three of us, we could only hold 'merry'.

I've used:

All in the Family stamp set ( limited release)

Holiday Thyme double sided papers ( limited release)

whimsical lower alphabet

corner rounder

Slit punch

Large oval punch

rich regal buttons and gold cord

all of which are available from Stampin' Up!® and available for purchase through me.

Little boxes, Little boxes...

One of the benefits of being a demonstrator with Stampin' Up!® is the amazing support from both the company and your team and uplines. One of my uplines Jayne hosted a cyberstamp this week and this is the result of challenge 1.
These gorgeous Boxes were so easy to make and alot of fun too! I must admit though I am Paper addicted and tend to not use these gorgeous papers often as they are so pretty I hate to cut them. Must learn to be more ruthless because I love the end result!

I've used Petals and Paisleys Designer series double-sided paper ( try saying that fast!), More mustard cardstock, certainley celery ribbon, 'hello' from Tagger's dozen and my tag punch to co-ordinate. Let me know what you think!
