A Time for hope...

And a 'Get Well Soon' message. I made this card yesterday to send to my friend and upline Cass for her mum who has just undergone a life saving organ transplant this week. It's is such an emotional time for them so hopefully it will help to know we care and are sending our thoughts and prayers to them at this time.

Happy Birthday Chloe!!

Our gorgeous little neighbour next door turns One today!! so I wanted to make her a card to go with her present.
I've used a set called 'Favourite Teddy Bear' for the main images and 'Small Sayings' for the sentiment. The number '1' comes from 'Letterpress Numbers'.
I've also added some 'Dazzling Diamonds' to teddy and the '1' just to glam it up abit ( and drew a heart in with my 2-way glue pen and sprinkled glitter on that as well).
The photo doesn't show it up terribly well though.
I don't always get the chance to make cards for friends and family but I do try!! I hope she likes it!

Mixed Bouquet...

I bought this stamp set for myself for christmas and finally got a chance to play while my beautiful girl had a nap yesterday.
I used a technique called Reverse Masking to create the shaded area and used my Pastels and Sponge Daubers ( I love love these little things!) to blend.
The sentiment is from the set Small Sayings which is in the current mini as is the wide chocolate ribbon. And the brads came out of my Hodgepodge hardware.
It was actually a really quick card to put together and I managed to make it while on the phone to my Mum! ('As Always' my hubby would say)
All Ingredients used are From Stampin' Up!® And available for purchase through me at any time! Take care xx

Friendship Blooms...

I just love freebies and this stamp set is one you can choose for free when you place an order worth $100 or more during Sale-A-Bration. To make this card I've used Regal Rose cardstock and created the scalloped bottom by using my corner punch with the guard removed.
Then layered with some Close to Cocoa cardstock and the Loves Me designer double sided paper. I've also added some paper peircing and ribbon from the Flirty Ribbon orininals Which is available from the current Mini catalogue.
If you don't already have a copy of these catty's please contact me and I will post them to you this week.

Cake boxes...

How adorable are these? I made them a while ago, photographed them and managed to show them at a few workshops before my beautiful toddler *Sat* on them. Imagine a cardstock 'Cake' towering high...

Well, I was able to salvage the ribbon at least! They are made using the 'A New Little Someone" stamp set and Pixie Pink cardstock. I have some Dazzling Diamonds on the safety pins on the box using Heat and Stick Powder and Versamark Ink. These would be great for any party as souvenirs filled with lollies or treats and small gifts.

All items used are Stampin' Up!® and are available for purchase through me at any time.

Simplicity...

This is my take on Cass' challenge at today's get together (another benefit of being a demonstrator is the time together to stamp, create and catch up with each other!)Which was a one layer card! My layer being the wide certainly celery ribbon. I've also added some Dazzling Diamonds to the flowers using my 2-way glue pen. This was stamped in Stazon black and watercoloured with crayons and aquapainter. All of which are Stampin'Up! and available through me!

Chocolate, Chocolate everywhere and not a bit to eat!

So... one of my New Years Resolutions is to cut DOWN (notice I didn't say OUT) Chocolate consumption and lose some weight! So I have to find other ways to get my fix. Thank goodness for Stampin' Up! and 'Chocolate chip', 'close to cocoa' and 'creamy caramel' cardstocks and inks.

These latest cards I made last night. The first uses the 'Carte Postale' set from the Summer Mini catty along with the 'French Script' background stamp and my SU punches to give some definition. This was a card sketch challenge a few weeks ago from one of my favourite site's I go to for inspiration! Splitcoaststampers

And this second card uses a set called 'Long Time Friend' and the 'Wide Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon' along with some Sage Shadow thrown in for good measure. What do you think??

To begin the New Year I will be announcing a new competition so stay tuned for more details.

Happy New Year...

... and all that Jazz! Well I must admit I'm glad to see the start of a new year. Lots of positive things to look forwards to and a whole new year of exciting adventures with Stampin' Up!
This is quick card I made today while my delightful (Ahem) child was resting (not sleeping as supposed to be!)
I love chocolate chip cardstock at the moment so used an 11x21 cm folded for the base and added some of the gorgeous double sided paper 'Loves Me' with 'Big Blooms' stamp set and 'Wide Very Vanilla Ribbon' all available from the Summer Mini Catty. For a bit of glitz I added some dazzling diamonds with my 2 way glue pen. And the word 'Wonderful' from the stamp set 'Warm words'.
Don't forget with all orders over $100 from now till the end of February you can earn FREE stamp sets from the Sale-A-Bration Catty.

Last piece of Christmas...

This is the last thing I wanted to show you for Christmas. If you were at the Penrith Paper Crafts Festival in November you may have seen me demonstrating these cute little gift cards.

( some of you lucky few may have received one from me then as well!).

They were super quick to make using a technique called 'Reverse Masking'.
All i did was create a circle mask using my round tab punch and then using 'pastels' and sponge daubers, coloured inside the clear area. Then with mask in place I stamped my 'hung up on the holidays' stamps, lift the mask and voila! A bit of 'dazzling diamonds' to finish and they're done. The best bit is I only used the one colour for the whole thing! Even the cardstock! This one is 'Ballet Blue'

Double pocket tote...

I made this adorable little double pocket tote bag using the Holiday Thyme paper which is sadly no longer available. It was a super quick project that would be a great gift with some small note cards or treats stuffed into the pockets.

It also uses the star from 'on board accents' chipboard and the 'celebrate' from the stamp set 'Lexicon of love', Gold cord, Twill tape and gold Brads.

Hail, Hail...

Here are the photos as promised. These were taken about half an hour after the main storm passed and had already begun to melt.

I hope everyone has stayed safe and sound. Thank God for insurance!!

A bit of Scrapbooking...

So I'm not usually a scrapbooker but love to give it a go now and then. These are two 6x6 layouts I've been working on this morning and I must say I'm quite happy with how they turned out. The first one simply uses the ingredients from the Simply Scrappin Kits- All the trimmings. and the second is another using my new stamp set- Time well spent.

This second page uses a LOT of pink but it figure that's OK because my daughter is a very girly- girl. And she just looks adorable in pink.

As I type this a Hail storm has just hit Sydney. Will post the photos later. Bigger than I've ever seen and my first ever brand new car has just copped it big time!!!
